Thriving Together: Culturally Responsive & Inclusive Learning Environment for Youth, Schools & Communities

All young people deserve learning environments that are inclusive, affirming, and emotionally supportive. Schools and community spaces thrive when they cultivate culturally responsive, emotionally intelligent, and identity-affirming practices that promote belonging, well-being, and academic success for all students. This Community of Practice (CoP) will focus specifically on supporting newcomer and immigrant youth and families, ensuring that student academic, social, and emotional supports are woven into culturally sustaining, differentiated approaches that honor students’ identities, languages, and lived experiences.
