This session explores how educators can foster resilience in students through culturally responsive practices.
Participants will learn how trauma and toxic stress impact development, how culture shapes coping and resilience, and how to identify and strengthen protective factors in their classrooms. The goal is to equip educators with tools to support students in ways that honor their identities, lived experiences, and cultural strengths.
